Hi, I’m Maya! I’m a Canadian writer and content strategist based in Helsinki, with more than ten years of freelance experience and a habit of turning complicated topics into content people can actually understand and enjoy.

I’ve written and edited everything from travel stories and consumer guides to research-heavy content on cybersecurity, SaaS, AI, finance, and digital privacy. I also work beyond the page (or should I say, Google Doc), developing social media strategies, managing content operations, improving workflows, analyzing performance, and helping digital brands get their content in front of the right audience.

I’m curious, self-directed, and love learning something new. I’m comfortable with AI-workflows and know how/when to use it without relying on it. I strongly believe in the value of having a human element in online content.
