Where are the best places to shop for stocking stuffers in Canada?
Amazon and Dollarama.
Sure, the mall looks beautiful with Christmas decorations, but who can be bothered to go anymore? With long lines, low stock and general holiday hassle, it’s just not a good time.
If you’re anything like me, perhaps you prefer shopping from the comfort of your jammies too? Thought so! That’s why Amazon Canada is the best option. Thousands of products, most with two-day shipping.
And lucky for you, I’ve already done the heavy lifting: searching for the BEST stocking stuffers on Amazon Canada. That’s right, you don’t have to spend hours navigating the website to try and find the goods.
Let’s face it, Amazon is great when you know what you want but it can be kind of difficult to just browse and find new ideas!
From your man to your mom, your kids or just yourself (am I the only one that occasionally pops items into my own stocking?) it’s all right here. Let’s get started!
PS – If you want to know about the best stocking stuffers at Dollarama, check out @dollaramahunt on Instagram. C’est moi!

Beanie: Carhartt Men’s Acrylic Watch Hat
I feel like everyone has seen one of these Carhartt Acrylic Watch Hats out in the wild. Originally designed as workwear for construction workers, this hat now a Canadian staple! It’s sturdy, stretchy, soft and warm enough for our colder months. These hats are quite versatile and while they are designed for men, I’d be lying if I said that I don’t steal my boyfriend’s from time to time! On Amazon, you can find this hat is a TON of different colours. Whichever you choose, please just make sure it says “ships from and sold by amazon.ca” rather than a third-party seller, because some people have claimed that the latter is not the same quality.
Blue Light Glasses: LifeArt Blue Light Blocking Glasses
I was always very skeptical about whether blue light glasses were “just for show”, but after using these LifeArt Glasses for over a year, I can confidently say that they are essential for anyone who spends a lot of time on the computer. They reflect blue light, prevent colour distortion, reduce eye strain and help you sleep better at night. Plus, they are super lightweight and look amazing on pretty much anyone!
Canadian-Themed Mug: Main and Local Curling Rock Coffee Mug
Dollarama is one of my favourite places to buy new mugs, a Montreal-based store that sells cute Canadian-themed accessories. Their tag line is souvenirs that don’t suck, and it really is the case! One of my favourite Main and Local goods is this Curling Rock Ceramic Coffee Mug. I don’t know anyone who is into curling, but this mug is too awesome to pass up. They also make cute socks and Christmas ornaments, like this festive trash panda or milk bag!
Car Phone Mount: Ugreen Air Vent Car Mount
After trying a sticky pad on the dashboard and a magnetic cell phone holder for the car, I can confidently say that neither compares to the super sturdy Ugreen Air Vent Car Mount. You attach it to the air vent inside the car and snap your phone in place using the spring-loaded clips. It won’t shake, budge or drop your phone. This is perfect for talking on the phone, listening to Spotify or having your Google Maps directions handy. Plus, it fits almost any phone model and hardly takes up extra space.
Chocolate: Reese Lovers Assorted Gift Box
Chocolate and peanut butter are the most heavenly combination! Chances are, you probably know someone who feels the same, so why not treat them to this Reese Lovers Assorted Gift Box? It comes with 7 different Reese items (some of which I have never seen before) and it’s all wrapped in a cute little box! Although Dollarama is usually my go-to store for ALL chocolate and candy stocking stuffers, I couldn’t resist picking this up for the hardcore chocolate peanut butter lovers in my life.
Coasters: Vinyl Record Coasters
How cute are these coasters that look like little vinyl records? They are the perfect stocking stuffer for music lovers, or really anyone who could use a good coaster set! Each of the Ankzon Coasters has a rubber layer to prevent sliding and features a unique design. They even have grooves on them like a real vinyl record!
Coffee Beans: Kicking Horse Coffee
Let’s just say that there is a reason why Kicking Horse coffee is the best-selling coffee on Amazon. It’s organic, fairtrade, kosher and absolutely delicious. It’s also a Canadian company and I’m all for supporting local coffee artisans. There are a ton of different roasts/flavours to choose from, but our favourites are Hola and Smart Ass. This is a great stocking stuffer for anyone who loves coffee and if they end up falling in love with it (like we did) they can also add it to their monthly subscription for some extra savings!
Face Roller: Latme Ice Roller
You know those little jade rollers that you can use to de-puff your face and make your skin feel cool? The Latme Ice Roller is the bigger and better version of that. You can actually remove the roller head and pop it into the freezer for 10-15 minutes before use. Then you can sit back and enjoy the calming and cooling effects on your face. It works wonders for migraines, sunburns, fevers and hot flashes. I don’t own this yet, but I’ve informed the bf that this needs to be in my stocking.
Flannel Pyjamas: Amazon Essentials Men’s Flannel Pyjama Pants
These Amazon Essentials Men’s Flannel Pyjama Pants have amazing reviews and are only $20. I find that price point pretty good in comparison to some other brands like Old Navy and Eddie Bauer. There are a bunch of different patterns and colours to choose from, but my personal favourite is the classic red plaid. I bought these for my boyfriend earlier this fall and he says there is a reason why they are the #1 men’s pyjama bottoms on the site.
Gel Cleaner: ColorCoral Cleaning Gel
While on the topic of air vents, have you ever had the satisfaction of using a cleaning gel in your car? It’s unlike anything else honestly! Take a piece of the ColorCoral Cleaning Gel, roll it into a little ball and press it into the area you want to clean out dust and debris. The gel picks up everything it touches without leaving any residue. You can use it in your car, on your keyboard or at various hard-to-reach places at home.
Hand Cream: Delectable by Cake Beauty Hand Cream Set
Cake Beauty is a Canadian company that prides itself on using cruelty-free, vegan ingredients. I’ve seen the brand at Shopper’s Drugmart many times, but find their products are MUCH less expensive on Amazon. This year, I picked up the Delectable hand cream set to use as stocking stuffers. The lotions are surprisingly large, a lot bigger than I thought they would be. This means you can spread the joy and pop these in multiple stockings, or keep a couple for yourself! The set features a variety of “delectable” scents like vanilla, coconut & strawberry. Plus, they look super cute!
Lego Set for Adults: Lego Architecture Collection
If you told me this time last year that I would ever suggest someone to go out and buy a Lego set for adults, I probably would have rolled my eyes. But then I got this Lego Architecture London Skyline Kit in my stocking last year and fell in love with it. Family, if you’re reading this then please get me the Paris kit next! Lego makes these architecture kits for a variety of cities & places with interesting skylines. It’s a great souvenir from past travels or inspiration for places on your bucket list. They make the perfect display piece in your home office or on top of your dresser.
Massager: Foot Roller & Ball Set
Do you know anyone who has sore feet, tight muscles or general pain and pressure? Oh right, everyone! This Tobfree Massage Set comes with a foot roller and two spiky massage balls. I think they are meant to be used on the bottom of your feet to relieve aches or pains and treat plantar fasciitis, but they can honestly be used anywhere on the body. Just roll away and relieve that pain.
Meat Thermometer: ThermoPro Digital Instant Read Thermometer
This is the best stocking stuffer for the BBQ-master in your life. I picked up this ThermoPro Instant Read Thermometer after getting an air fryer for Christmas last year because I wanted to be SURE that my chicken wings were getting cooked through. It quickly became one of our most-used kitchen gadgets. My boyfriend loves using this when he’s grilling meat on the BBQ too. It’s small, accurate and dependable. There’s also a magnet on the back so you can stick it on the fridge for easy access!
Media Player: Roku Express
You can literally turn any ol’ television into a Smart TV by using a media player like the Roku Express. I bought this for my dad last Christmas and was blown away by the features and ease of use on this little device, that I bought one for myself too. Simple setup. No ads. Easy to access your favourite streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Crave, Disney+, AppleTV and so on. There are some free streaming services too with lots of classic movies and tv shows. This is a great stocking stuffer for dads, parents or just yourself!
No-Tie Laces: Lock Laces
It’s a good thing that my boyfriend doesn’t read my posts, or else he’d find out that this is going to be in his stocking this Christmas! The Lock Laces allow you to turn ANY shoe into a slip-on. They are perfect for people who have trouble tieing up their shoes (kids, seniors & people with bad hands) but also convenient for everyone else. They are water-resistant, easy to put on and feature adjustable tension.
Nylon Charger: AmazonBasics Nylon Lightning Cable (Or USB C for Android)
Once you start using a braided nylon charging cable, you’ll never go back. The material is super durable and never tangles, even if you wrap it up tightly to take it on the go. I have been using these AmazonBasics cables (for iPhone & Android) for the last few years without any issues whatsoever. I love that it comes in a variety of sizes too. The 10-ft cable is essential for going on trips because you never know how far away the outlet is going to be from the bed!
Pimple Patches: Cosrx Pimple Master Patch
These handy little pimple patches are designed to clean and clear your breakouts overnight. Have a pimple that’s ready to pop but don’t want to deal with the aftermath? Pop it and then place a Cosrx pimple patch on while you sleep. It will literally suck out any impurities and protect your skin from bacteria. People also use them on pimples that are cystic or underneath the skin and it seems to work out pretty well. I am a big fan of the Cosrx brand from Korea. If there’s one other product you should try from them, it’s the Snail Mucin Power Essence. Snail mucin can be a life-changer for your skin.
Portable Water Filter: LifeStraw
This is one of those items that you don’t need until you REALLY need it. The LifeStraw portable water filter is a must-have for anyone who is an avid hiker, camper, traveller or likes to prepare for emergencies. You can essentially drink out of any water source with this device, like a lake or a pond. It filters the water automatically and requires no filter changes or extra parts. While I think it’s intended for emergency situations, my boyfriend and I just enjoy using this on our trips. We like to “taste” water from the lakes we visit in Northern Ontario. It makes for a fun activity.
Satin Pillowcase: Bedsure Satin Pillowcase Set
This is the perfect stocking stuffer on Amazon Canada for anyone you know with curly hair or even just hair that is prone to breakage. Satin pillowcases, like this Bedsure set, protect hair from becoming tangled or frizzy and prevent your skin from creasing. I bought a black pair two years ago and it’s still holding up quite well! I find they are very soft and breathable.
Shielding Hand Lotion: Gloves in a Bottle
This is not a regular hand lotion. It’s a shielding hand lotion that will act as a barrier on your hands, protecting them from getting dry or cracked. Gloves in a Bottle is a must-have for anyone who has to frequently sanitize or be exposed to chemicals and cleaning products. It also provides relief to those suffering from eczema and other skin conditions. And with the amount of sanitizer we have all been using this year, I think a lot of people could benefit from having this in their stocking!
Snow Brush: AstroAI 27″ Snow Brush & Ice Scraper
I plan on buying this for my dad’s stocking this year, as it’s the best selling ice scraper on the site! According to the reviews, the AstroAI Snow Brush is compact, durable and gets all the snow/ice off of your car without too much hassle. I like the fact that it comes in two pieces so that you can easily transport it from one car to another.
Sticky Notes: Post-It Notes & Page Markers Combo Pack
Who couldn’t use more sticky notes? If 2021 is anything like 2020 in the sense that we will continue to work and learn online, sticky notes are an office essential. They are perfect for jotting down talking points for zoom calls, brainstorming ideas or writing out tomorrow’s Costco list. This Post It Notes & Page Markers combo pack features several different sizes and all of the best colours.
Tire Gauge: AstroAI Digital Tire Aire Pressure Gauge
I’ll be the first to admit that I have no idea how to use this AstroAI Digital Tire Aire Pressure Gauge, but my boyfriend seems to LOVE using it. After driving for a while, going down a gravel road or filling up the tires at the gas station, my boyfriend always uses this little device to check the air pressure. Both the display and nozzle light up, so that you can easily check in the dark too. We keep it in the back seat pocket for easy access and it’s proven to be quite handy!
Thermos: Thermos 16-Ounce Jar with Spoon
For coffee, soup and snack lovers alike. The Thermos 16-Ounce Jar is one of the brand’s most tried and true products. It comes with a full-size stainless steel spoon, leak-proof lead and serving bowl. The best part is that your contents will stay warm for hours, making it perfect for lunches, camping trips or long car rides. I bought one of these for my co-worker last Christmas to use on her train rides and she has loved it ever since!
Toilet Spray: Poo-Pourri
This is the original toilet spray (that you spray before you go) and to be honest, nothing else can really compare. The Poo-Pourri Spray is effective, smells great and it’s made from natural ingredients & essential oils. My only complaint is that it’s a little pricey, but a little goes a long way and it’s a must-have for anyone who shares their bathroom with their significant other.
Waffle Maker: Dash Mini Waffle Maker Machine
While staying in Mont Tremblant earlier this year, I treated myself to a waffle breakfast at the hotel. Who doesn’t love waffles? Nobody, that’s who. It kind of got me wishing that I could make waffles at home and after a quick online search, I found this incredible device. Let’s just say that it has been the best $15 ever spent. The Dash Mini Maker even comes with a mini recipe guide that features a ton of creative waffle ideas, like “chaffles” which is a keto-friendly version made from cheese! Do your loved ones a favour and stuff this in their stocking. Don’t forget one for yourself!
Watch: Casio Digital Watch
Tried and true. Although it has a bit of a vintage look, this is a style of watch that will always be in fashion. The Casio A158WA-9 has a stainless steel band and a gold face that somehow seems to match just about any skin tone. It looks great on men or women and it’s perfect for everyday use. You can set a daily alarm, hourly time signal and auto calendar. Plus, it’s under $30 so it makes for the perfect stocking stuffer or an inexpensive gift.
